Official Step-by-Step Connection Guide丨Important Notes Before Operation

• Ensure both battery switchand inverter switch are OFF before wiring.
• Use standard communication cables & power cables provided by LVTOPSUN.
• Keep all connectors tight, no looseness or short circuit.

Step 1: Open the Inverter Cover

Remove the top cover of the LVTOPSUN inverter to expose the wiring area.

Step 2: Connect Power Cables (Negative First)

• Connect the inverter’s negative terminalto Pack 1 negative terminal.
• Connect the inverter’s positive terminalto Pack 1 positive terminal.

Step 3: Connect Communication Cable

Use a standard communication cable to connect:

• Battery pack side: CAN port
• Inverter side: BMS port

Step 4: Set Battery DIP Switch

Toggle the battery DIP switch to position 1.

Step 5: Reinstall the Inverter Cover

Fasten and secure the inverter top cover back into place.

Step 6: Power On Sequence

1. Turn on the inverter power switch.
2. Turn on the battery power switch.

Step 7: Confirm Protocol Settings

Ensure both battery and inverter use the same protocol:Protocol: CAN – PYLON (PYL)

Step 8: Inverter Parameter Settings

1. Press and hold the Settings buttonfor 2 seconds → enter Page 01 (default: on – Normal Operation Mode).

3. Flip to Page 33→ set communication protocol = PYL.
